The book is called ''Man as an animal'', by W.C. Osman Hill, written in London in 1957.
Check that before insulting people...

I just heard a radio DJ talking about how people should form their diet around their blood type. aparently type O was the first blood type and that was when people ate a lot of meat. then as we evolved and started farming more blood types evolved as we were eating more vegitation. so people who are type O would be better off eating meat and other blood types might be better off as vegitarians. I didn't look into that idea any further but I found it really interesting. if it is true then I would not think it had anything to do with being "less evolved" but probably more where your blood line came from (countries of meat eaters or countires of farmers...)

That is really racist, considering that I am both Native American and of African descent. Actually, before the white people came and put blacks into slavery, they were living quite the lavish lives. That's really a bad comment to make about two racial groups. Plus, I do believe that the Native Americans were doing just fine before the white settlers ruined that for them too. So if they are for any reason underdeveloped, it's not their fault. Plus my blood type is 'O' and I am waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy smarted than a monkey, by a long shot. I'm probably smarter than you as well....not like that would be an accomplishment...so watch what you say, because that is really offensive and an unfair judgement. Plus, last time I checked NO RACE OF HUMANS is better, or move evolved than another. It's just people like you that make statements like this and very dumb people tend to believe them. Like I said before, if for some odd reason either of the groups are less evolved, it's because of white settlers that messed things up that would've worked themselves out. (not trying to sound racist, sorry if I did) I hope you didn't mean this as the way you said it, but it seems like there's no nice way of putting THAT comment. I think you did this just to irritate people...

I propose you seem up Henry Louis Gates Jr.'s African American Lives both one and 2, he talks about that topic, and also take a seem at his new documentary sequence airing immediately on PBS named Black in Latin united statesa.. to respond to your question right away some african people do have community american indian blood in there ancestry, even if that's a medium to small quantity those who do. an excellent style of the time what we believe is community american genes in a households actual seems to be white or caucasian, and gazing Gates's documentary will clarify extremely of why our ancestors advised us that we had amerindian in our genes and not in any respect white.

If true that would really be interesting. If evolution is correct and apes are a close ancestor then this is just more evidence. I don't think africans or natives are less evolved. I think that if they have more O blood type than any other group it my be an evolutionary trait that that race needs to survive in it's enviroment.

This is really not an intelligent question. How could evolution have anything to do with blood type? Now, if you said they are all hairy or something (JUST an example, and not even true) then that might be an evolutionary problem.

My family is just about as anglo as you can get and we are mostly O+. I think the real question is why you would want to believe in a "theory" that allows comparisons like that when we have the Bible that says all men are created equally and in the image of God?
