Do you think we will win or will it result in nuclear warfare? If nuclear warfare develops, will other countries get involved too and use theirs?

Mr. Wizard: That's exactly what I was trying to see if anyone would figure out. It happened before.

I don't think we will attack North Korea because it would be absolutely necessary to use a first strike nuclear attack .They have a million man army and we have somewhere between 30 and 50 thousand troops on the ground there. However if we have real intelligence information on them which we didn't in Iraq and the threat is real and even moderately immediate its possible. Though we could quickly annihilate them I don't think we would consider ourselves winners after that much devastation of human life. I'm sure in spite of the rhetoric from North Korea that they know this. I hope that knowledge is enough to stop them from doing something foolish such as a first strike of their own. I'm not so sure if other countries would be apt to get militarily involved if we used nuclear weapons, so my guess would be a no on that question.

Bush can't afford to wage war against North Korea. He's lost pretty much everything he ever had to start with, in terms of domestic and international support, finances, etc.. He has little to no resources, and his approval ratings are already lower than almost every other president in American history. He cannot possibly wage a full-on war against North Korea and Condi Rice should be extra careful to clean up Bush's blunders in diplomacy or else Bush will be pulled into war against his will...

If the president had an army 10 times as large as the current one, we would be at war in Iran and North Korea as well as Iraq.

Doubtful right now. Bush finally has some world approval..he's not going to risk it by jumping the gun and being the ****** he's been with Iraq.
Sure would like to hear some other Countries imput..not just USA responders. I get tired of having my fellow citizens act as though ours are the only opinions on the planet.

Doubts exist any nuclear war dangers will be present. But it is interesting strategy to stay in the White House: engage into yet ANOTHER NEW war, just before his Presidential term ends.

If such were to happen, then he could be allowed to stay in for yet another 4 years--continuing to reap the perks/benefits of his office.

We've essentially been at war w/NK for 50+ years. Diplomacy (welfare too) hasn't worked. I say give war a chance.
