A friend of mine recently installed REASON 3.0 onto my computer. When he installed it he did it under my sisters screen name, but when I try to bring it up under my own screen name it says FAILED TO OPEN FILE !!!! I've went to my computer and tried to start it from the program files but it's the same result. I've even downloaded the demo version to make sure that it wasn't the program but the demo version says the same thing. But when I try to start it... If I switch to my sisters screen name it runs perfectly, But she has a password so that makes it IMPOSSIBLE to run theprogram WITHOUT HER !!! Is ther anything I can do without the instilation disc to make it work right, because I nolonger have access to the disc ? And if so, how do I do it under my screen name?

That sounds like the software was installed for only her user name, and not the other users of the computer. If this is the case, the answer is, no there is nothing you can do. I do have one suggestion, and that is cough up the three hundred bucks and buy the software!!! Then you won't have any problems.

Maybe your screen name needs to be a system administrator account and not a limited account?
