Dealing with rude obnoxious salesman. Especially if you are a single woman trying to buy a car. The salesman think females don't deserve respect as a male customer would. I have been lied to, treated like an idiot, and pressured to buy a new car. When that happens just leave. Don't deal with the jerks and don't give them the commission. The ones I dealt with were absolute pieces of sh*t. One was so horrible as to insult my race. I am asian american by the way. He said that it was "hard to sell to you people because chinese people are cheap." I reported the Ford dealership to the Texas Attorney General for that comment. I would never buy a ford from anywhere because of this jerk.

OMG - I was taken so bad and it was a two year nightmere! It was a repo car that I bought from a lot. Had my girlfriends "boyfriend" pick it up for me since it was not something I could do by myself. Meanwhile while I paid the bill talked to the mechanic - He was talking to the office person and had all the paperwork put in his name..........freaking thief -
took me 2 years to clean up the mess........(fought with BMV and the police and the courts) -
Police playing dumb acting like they didn't know where to find the car in "such a big city"....
I stolen my car own car in the middle of the night - because I had a set of extra keys about a year into the "ordeal".....and nearly went to jail for it - I won..........Of course......
I had an attorney that was like a rookie in court, so I just represented myself while my attorney laid their like a coward -.... and had to nerve to charge me a bogus bill......Here's the kicker...He wanted me to pay him back for the repairs he made on my car!
I asked the judge "if someone stole the Mona Lisa...just because they took really really good care of it" should they not go to jail for stealing?
I learned HOW twisted and turned our legal system was, who were my friends, and how to buy a car.

The salesman called me every single day until my father finally told him I had bought a car. When he asked my dad what kind of car I bought, he couldn't remember the name of it and told him it was a Firebird--it was actually a Sunbird.

The salesman mailed me a nasty letter telling me that I should have told him I planned to buy a more expensive car. He enclosed several business cards for me to hand out to my friends and mentioned that if I sent my friends his way, he would give me money for each one who took a car for a test drive. Needless to say, I sent no one.

A week later I saw his picture in the newspaper for salesman of the year...

Well I don't think it's the worst but it just happen Friday so it's current! We were driving around looking at little trucks for my hubby. He knows what he wants exactly used truck blah blah blah. So it was 114 degrees here and we were just driving around lots seeing if the truck he is interested in is even on the lot. We had our two kids in the back and did I mention it is freakin' hot? If we found one close to what he wanted we would get out and talk to someone.
Well we pull up to a Nissan lot...this kid all of maybe 19 is standing right there when we pull up...my hubby didn't even get out because he was in our window. My hubby says "I am looking for such a such truck do you have anything like that?"
The kid says "why dont' you come inside and we will talk about it...it would benefit us both"
hubby says "well I just want to look at your lot and see if you have anything I want to come inside to talk about"
the kids says "sorry I can't let you look around"
WTF???? I am going to spend $10,000 and I can't look around at the merchandise...NO THANKS. We get back in the car and the guy kinda shrugs his shoulders like what did I say.

Ummm you said that we couldn't look at cars we had to come inside and sit and talk about it. Word to that kid next time someone wants to look perhaps you should let them. They may just find something on your lot that they like.

We played that game about 7 years ago we went inside to 'talk about it' and they took our driver's licsense and we could not get out of there. It got to the point where hubby said 'look if I don't get my liscense back to leave now I will have to call the police and see if they can get my liscense back from you so I can leave"

I've never had a bad experience buying a car. Salesmen are normally men...it's real simple, blow them on the test drive and you'll get a great deal...think thats bad...I save thousands everytime! maybe you should try it!

My sister bought a used car once "as is" and on the way home the fuel line leaked, the engine caught fire and burned to a crisp and there was nothing we could do because she had bought it "as is".

the salesman kept calling me "sweetie" and "lil lady"...and actually lied to me that no one could trace a VIM number or a car's title history.
