Why not grow it out and see what you think? - You can always cut it off if you think it looked better short.

I like short hair and there is nothing matter with being a heavy set woman. Be proud of yourself and keep a smiling face.

I think you should keep your hair short, to each her own. I am heavy myself and my hairdresser recommends that I keep it short. Long hair on big women, < shaking head> does not look good. Some people have said that large girls who have short hair makes them look like a pinhead. But, I disagree, they are more attractive to me with short.

Unless you have excellent bone structure and a perfect oval or heart-shaped face, you need to have some length to balance everything. Facial structure is much more important to hair length, cut, etc. than weight. If the cut flatters your face shape, it will automatically make you look your best (i.e. thinner).

I am a heavier woman.
I keep my hair short because it thins my face.
When long, I tend to look fuller, and more rounded in the face, and that's not good for me, when my face and neck doesn't match how the middle of my body is (hormones caused my weight, and it's all in the tummy and buttocks...UGH).

It really depends on how your face is formed. Is it round, oval, or sharp? Short hair goes best w/ round faces I think. Long hair can be for oval or sharp. It really depends on the person. I would check out some hair style websites before cutting my hair.

depends on your facial structure. I have seen heavy women with short hair and they look good. I myself am heavy and I don't look good with real short hair.... the shortest for me would be just barely above my shoulders... anything shorter and it doesn't look good.... but that is me. Go to a salon and ask for some professional advice........... good luck.

With a full figure, I'd say go long or at least shoulder length. It takes the roundness out of your face.
