Basenjis can be a royal pain in the butt - too clever for their own good. Try getting a heavy metal pail with a foot-operated lid. Be very glad that's the WORST problem you have!!

Yep. I've had several dogs that liked to eat anything, shall we say, soiled. Socks. Old raunchy tennis shoes. One also thought rolling in skunk scat was the equivalent of going to the spa. Dogs do that. It's why I always keep a big jug of Dr. Bronner's Magic soap (peppermint) around.
