I know who Joseph Smith is and I can honestly say that I do love the man, but I love my savior Jesus Christ more.

Joseph Smith was a false prophet. He was led by one of the anti-christ's arch-angels to the golden tablets. Jesus never came to America. He told His disciples to "Go out and tell the Nations of these things." "things" being His deeds that He did throughout the Holy Bible.

Yes, he is wonderful! Brigham Young said of him, and I am not directly quoting but close, Joseph Smith has done more, save Jesus Christ only, for the salvation of man than any other man who has lived on this earth!
The new movie in SLC about him is EXCELLENT!!!

I find most modern day prophets to be a little strange about what God wants the rest of us to do while they are creating a better world. Which is quite contrary to what Jesus wants, however you can love whoever without raising an eyebrow these days. Could you perhaps explain why?

What a sad story--- pity more than love.

Had delusions,

Sold magic wheat, etc.

Got kicked out of the Masons,

Lost all his friends late in life (they refuted his teachings),

Got murdered in Prison (documents most recently found) ((check with Bishop to confirm)).

People still carry his writings ""Pearls of Great Price"" but mostly laugh at them. (( How to recognise a demon by handshake))

Yep -- a sad cat.

The utter horror! Why would you love a false prophet, seriously?
