"I will tell you who the real fanatics are: they are they who adopt false principles and ideas as facts, and try to establish a superstructure upon a false foundation." ... "Who can tell us of the inhabitants of this little planet that shines of an evening, called the moon? When we view its face we may see what is termed "the man in the moon," and what some philosophers declare are the shadows of mountains. But these sayings are very vague, and amount to nothing; and when you inquire about the inhabitants of that sphere you find that the most learned are as ignorant in regard to them as the most ignorant of their fellows. So it is with regard to the inhabitants of the sun. Do you think it is inhabited? I rather think it is. Do you think there is any life there? No question of it; it was not made in vain. " Quoted from Journal of Discourses [http://journalofdiscourses.org/Vol_13/JD13-268.html], discourse by Brigham Young 1870

If indeed there are inhabitants on the sun, as declared by this prophet, the second president of the LDS Church, what kind of clothes are they wearing to shield them from the heat? And what superstructures (beliefs) have been built upon foundations of false principles and facts?

According to the Vedas (from India) there are indeed beings living on the Sun planet as well as the moon planet. However the bodies of these beings are not like ours...we live on a very watery planet, so our bodies are made up of alot of water. On the sun planet those bodies are made mostly of fire. And on the moon planet those bodies are made up of whatever elements will enable a body to live there. The Sun is even considered to be a "heavenly" planet, as well as the moon. There is life everywhere....just not like ours. There's so much "out there" that we are so unaware of, believe it or not folks, this teeny little planet called earth is not the center of the universe. And we are under so much illusion if we think it is.

interesting! there are many dimensions in the universe, the physical being only one. and, some well informed people believe that there are non physical beings who populate some, or, perhaps, all of the non physical dimensions. so, possibly there are some non physicals who are " associated" with the sun and/or moon. in certain circles, there are those who believe, for example, that certain angels, spirits, etc. would be among those beings. certainly not impossible,eh? as a matter of fact there is an abundance of literature which names certain of these beings and others who are associated with all the "planets" of our solar system , and elsewhere. check out, for example, *angels: companions in magick* , for the names and descriptions of some of these "folks". cheers!
