whatever it is it's not enough. I think probably the initial penalty is being treated rather - well people here call it rudely. You get what you deserve and with a friend on a department in Ohio I can say pretty safely if you were to hit her you would not want to know the result. ;-)
Those who do not respect an officer aren't going to respect others either. That's the beginning of lawlessness.
They should not be subject to being assaulted for doing their job.
But I haven't done it to find out.

Are they state employees? Or are you talking like mall security? Either way is could go to some degree of assault, really all depends on what happened.

I hope you didn't already because more or less you F*ed if you do. I can;t remember the price, but last time through there I think I remember a sign saying $15k fine
