NO, NO, NO, NO!!
Go on with your life honey!!
Maybe what he did isn't serious, but you really don't need more complications in your life, do you?
Since you don't really have a relationship with him yet, go on to better prospects.

If you want to wait go ahead. Just remember when you were friends and the past girlfriends hes had has he been faithful to them. I had a friend that waited a couple of years for her dude and when he got out of jail they were together like 2 months then he went with some other girl. If he is the faithful type then wait for him, but if hes the player type then your just wasting you time

No, that would be dumb. First of all, 4 months as "friends" is not long enough for that. Second, you sound young enough to do better. Unless he's going to jail for embezzling 4 million dollars from Enron, what do you get out of this except an ex-con boyfriend? Move on and find yourself a nice college boy that you can divorce later when he's made his millions.

When you sat down to make a list of the top ten qualities you want in a relationship/man-----is 'ex-convict' on the list? Don't settle for less than you deserve. Make that list and then make sure you stick to it.....life is far too short to be involved with people that can't even keep themselves out of prison.

No, no and no. Move on. Life is hard enough without being saddled with someone who is already screwing up majorly. Cut your loses while you can and find someone new. You'll end up having "strong feelings" for someone else. Next time, however, I hope he is of appropriate character and deserving.

This all depends on how you both feel....Some guys like to have someone out there waiting on them when they go in and when they come out they sometimes stay with that person and sometimes they move on to someone else.
So you should talk to him and consider what you're giving up and what might come or not come of it....
If you feel that he'll come out wanting to be with you, be with him....If not don't wait and miss out on something else.

Well, it depends on what he's in jail for. If he's in for something really bad then no, i wouldn't wait, and even if it's little, i wouldn't date him sinse he was in jail. He;s probably a bad egg!! But, it's up to you. You can't always listen to other people

I guess it all depends on other peices of inforamtion you have not submitted. But i guess from what i know i would say if you love him and the crime is rather petty then yes wait for him but if it is violent crime or a major offense i would say no...you have a life too you know and if he is not worth it why wait? why not find a guy who will stay out of the klinker?

If you want to end up living in a trailer park with 6 snotty nosed kids, live on welfare, have no money or car, then by all means, wait for him.
