Cut the tail off! Just kidding, the kitten is just playing. Pretty soon the kitten will be fat, old and lazy, way to tired to chase a real mouse!!!

He will be hungry, so i'd attempt feeding him at the same time as he cries. you pick a kitten certain formulation quite than a vast spectrum formulation. Use a warmth somewhat damp wash fabric to wipe his hind end after he eats so he will urinate and defaecate. Very youthful cats can not attempt this on their personal, it really is why mama cats lick them. i'd get an electric powered heating pad and keep it on low. ensure there's a blanket or 2 between him and the heating pad. i have also had solid success giving them a small crammed animal as "organization" so that they have got some thing delicate they could curl up next to. I actual have a range of of old beanie toddlers I keep round only for this. He could also merely pick to be held and cuddled. Kittens are not used to being by myself, as a way to get scared at the same time as they're by myself. Your vet can furnish you with another thoughts in case you pick any extra help, or you could e-mail me through my profile. I worked with an animal rescue elevating bottle toddlers and that i replaced right into a vet tech for merely about ten years, so once you've different questions, you could e-mail me and that i will help if i can.

buy the kitten toys - little mice, balls with bells, crumple up paper into balls for the kitten, if you have any old neck ties that you want to play with the kitten - drag them around for the kitten to play with (just don't leave them out when you're not around). Kittens like children need games and stimulation.

you can't stop the kitten from chasing it's tail. it's a natural part of life. your kitten should grow out of it in a year or two.

Get a rubber band and twist it over and over and over and over again on the cats tail until you can't do it anymore. In about a week the tail should fall off.

kittens love to practice their hunting skills... even if they are hunting their tail. If you feel that your kitten is having some behavior problems you can always email questions to the Humane Society @ http://www.hssv.org
they are really helpful.
