Does god exist?

With all the debate on the existance of a god or deity, all I seem to see is people putting 'faith' into the existance of one. Is there any plausable suggestions of proof that there is a god?

Proof negates faith. Find proof, there is no need for Faith, have faith, there is no need for proof. The two do not work together. If there was proof, there would be no need for faith, and since "God" requires faith, we need no proof.

Yeah, everybody likes to go at the mouth. does anybody bother to research what has been written about god. Once a word by word inspection is done, the truth will be clear. Too many inconsistencies in the stories. Most of the stories about Christ, if not all, were written long after he was supposed to have died. Same with the gospels, the apostles never wrote them,unless these Aramaic-speaking fishermen learned Greek from the fish.

also,if you really study the Torah, you will find some gosh-awful things in there, like slavery and murder and such.

Try doing some serious reading, you will discover that the answers people give you are flimsy.Get your own answers

I had in my family 5 generations of preachers....my father broke the chain- by not following his father. Both my parents - My father is the son of a preacher man and my mother is the daughter of one.

I cant quote any bible versus nor do I want to. I have nothing against any religious beliefs or various practices of those that follow certain in indoctrinations.
I choose to be catholic - it was my decision. I looked into all kinds of faith before choosing that.

Anyhow - when I was a young girl - my grandfather asked me if I believed in the devil?...........it was hard to understand what he was really asking - because of the (Spanish-to-English) translation. I said no because I thought he asked if I worshiped the devil?
He told me that I should believe in the Devil for without believing in the Devil there would be no God and vice-versa...for surely as there is good there is evil. One can not exist without the other.
Since I believe there is much evil in the world - there surely has to be a God. Be it a higher deity or whatever you wish to call your higher power -
I personally have not seen possessions of the soul - but have been told that it does happen. After 5 generations of ministers - I have to go with what I know, what I was taught, and miracles I have personally been a witness to.

Yes, just look at the world around us there is evidence of God in every thing. Look at how beautifully God made you. God is Great.

Does goodness or righteousness or love exist? If they do, there must be a God. If Goodness, Righteousness, and Love are all false beliefs, then so is God.

i dont think that god exists because all "He" is, is a faith or something that you beleive when you could just cut the crap and just beleive in yourself to be good in your own morals and live then die peacefully without fear of there being a god

Of course god exsist, we wouldnt be here on earth if it wasnt for god and if it wasnt for god jesus wouldnt have exsisted and there is god even though no one can see him alive. in the bible it describes what god looks like.
