All moneys invested in social programs support illegal aliens should immediately be rerouted to our veterans and homeless, for shelter and education.

Every penny which is going to illegals should be stopped. Cut off completely. We must take care of America's poor, disabled, elderly and homeless before we take on the responsibility of Mexico's intruders. The illegals I have come across, especially at the May 1 illegal rallies, are ungrateful, disloyal, and belligerent.

That should be a no-brainer. Compassion starts at home. We cannot extend our hand to foreigners without making sure our own are taken care of. It is irrelevant how many welfare recipients are American, as the system was created for them, not people from other countries. LaLa, if you hate Americans so much maybe you should go someplace else. I know what my parents did to come here and I at least appreciate the people who have welcomed us and shared their bounty of wealth with us. I know my parents didn't come here so I could talk smack about our new country and disrespect people who have welcomed us with open arms. And before a counter racist pro illegal says anything, it is not because of our color- we are non-white.

People like you never cease to amaze me......first of all it isn't the "Mexicans" who are taking all of the money.....have you ever been to the government agencies and looked around to see the different types of people who are waiting for the services....well I can tell you this it sure as hell isn't JUST the "Mexicans".....but if you do look at all the work sites that involve men working in 100 degrees who do you see?....oh how about the people who do all the messy jobs?.....since the start of all of this heated topic the only thing people like you see is an opportunity to put down the "Mexicans".....PLEASE it's going to take a whole hell of a lot more than THAT to stop us from being a productive part in society, because in reality we are, mind you there are some who use the program but then again it would be IGNORANT for someone to say it's just the "Mexicans"......ever hear the old saying "education is the key"???....educate yourself before ignorance blinds you from the truth!

Well I guess here is the deal I think if there is an american who needs and wants a job that an illegal alien has and equally or more fully meets the job requirements for that job then he should get it. However if there are jobs americans dont want we can give those to them and charge them an illegal alien tax.

You answered your own question americas poor should get priority over mexicos poor In America just like in Mexico their poor should get priority over mexico's. These poor mexican citizens are not our problem they are mexicos problem why should we have to deal with other countries problems as well when we have plenty of our own. Mexico can take care of its own citizens and if it cant well like i said thats their problem they need to fix.

America's poor should be top priority for America. Evrey legal resident and alien should come first. I am not saying others should be turned away in emergencies; I am saying that money, etc. to help the poor should go to us who are in this country legally first.

First of all, i dont know where you get off saying that illegal immigrants get social help anywhere.... You need a Social Security to get benefits... illegal immigrants dont get Social Services..They are the hardest working people I know. Maybe American wouldnt be so lazy if they wouldnt have social services...food stamps...medicaid...hud...anything you name it....Name a specific social program that supports illegal immigrants??? a specific.......since you say all of these programs should be whateverr...

Where it gets routed will not be as important that it stops. There are over 500 bills across the country at all levels of government to stop this, and I for one and voting for the people who will support this.

I think it should be one unified program. Poor is poor no matter what country you come from. We should stop having sub-social programs and just have one. Like "okay lets help the poor people" it shouldn't be based on ethniticy it should be based on overall income. Everyone deserves and equal opportunity for assistance.
