If you are asking how to turn off the vibrator on a cell phone or Blackberry, you need to tell us what device you are using. It is usually down fairly low on a hierarchical menu. You can systematically go through all the menu options looking for something that gives you a choice of switching vibrate to off or to switch from vibrate to ring or to silent. You could also go to the manufacturers website to see if they offer an on-line copy of the manual. Find the manual for your device and then do a search (CTRL-F on a Windows machine or Apple-F on a Mac) in the document for "vibrate" to see if you can find the instructions. Good luck.

If it is the battery operated type just unscrew the end and the electrical contact is broken, if it is the type that runs off AC, un-plug it..are you using Energizer Batteries, They keep going while you keep coming (I don't believe I actually said that..Oops).

Well, I'm not a rocket scientist, but I'm guessing there is probably and off/on switch. Maybe you should try that.
