In the book of Judges, we read that Samson was blessed with strength because his mother promised God not to cut his hair.

Hasidic Jews keep side locks because of the scriptural admonition: As part of the 613 commandments, an injunction in Leviticus 19:27, commands Jews "You shall not round off the corner of your head, and you shall not destroy the edge of your beard" or simply "Do not cut off the hair on the sides of your head. Do not shave off the edges of your beard."

In the book of Grimm, we read of Rapunzel having let her hair grow with different results.

Ancient Jewish lore says that a bald person is closer to God than one with much hair, for the baldness provides for is a closer communication with God.

There are some who want a shaved hairstyle under their arms. However I find that to be the pits.

i dont think there was ever hair issues. There's always been heart issues where your heart is in the matter, and before jesus there were certain people who were to cut or not cut their hair due to their roles as priests or what have you.

It says for men not to wear their hair like women, and likewise women shouldnt cut their hair to be like men.

Sometimes people would cut their hair off to be humble before God. Sometimes they'd grow it long for God.

But i dont think theres really issues. I've never felt convicted about cutting my hair off.

interesting i think the new testement did away with the whole "you can only have a certain hair style" thing so i dont think he would send you to hell cause of a hair style but he might be a little more fonder of some hairstyles or else he wouldnt be able to decide how to style his hair. so yes i guess he does

I'm not sure about hairstyle preferences but according to Paul in the New Testament he wants women to cover it in church or else have it shaved off.
