In attempt to make french fries healthier

I do it at home all of the time. I cut the potatoes, spice then up, spray them with Pam, then bake in the oven.

they have created a "french fry" which is made of cauliflower. The people on the news say it's good but then again, that's for TV. I haven't located them anywhere in my parts.

Just buy some potatoes, cut them into fries, and bake on a baking pan at 450 degrees, 15 minutes on each side. Add your own pepper and spices. That's the way I make them and I like my fries better than any fast food place's.

They're a rather poor substitute for french fries, but sliced, baked potatoes are roasted potatoes.

Supposedly a customer complained his fried potatoes weren't sliced thinly sufficient, so the chef made him some tremendous skinny, merely to be a smartass, and the customer loved them. Voila! Potato chips.

You know, there's a whole frozen foods aisle at your local big chain grocery store devoted to french fries that you bake in the oven. ;)

yes cause that is a swell idea you should try making it go ahead do what you want to do you don't have to wait intill someone discover make it and make it a meal that a meal that your family would love and for dessert make this get some chip ahoy cookies and some icecream get 2 and a time and put icecream on it and smush them together and you made an icecream sandwhich be creative for dinner.holla at your girl piece

They do make baked french fries, & they're called oven fries, or "homestyle" french fries.
