Well, I as a believer don't. Its perfectly OK to have questions. Sometimes a person may not have the answer to a question and instead of admitting they don't, they get prideful, defensive, angry, and attacking.(which, by the way, is the wrong thing to do). God doesn't expect you to go on blind faith because that really isn't faith at all. God is an intellectual Being and He created you with a brain to be able to reason things out.
God in His word even says to test Him and see that He is good. His desire is for you to know Him personally. I appreciate your question and I'm sorry if Christianity has left a bad taste in your mouth. Nowhere in the bible will you find Jesus, the disciples, apostles etc ever treating a person with a question so badly. There is a story in the bible about a pharisee(religious leader/scholar of the Jews) who was questioning Jesus about being reborn. He asked how he was supposed to climb back into his mothers womb. Jesus could have scoffed and ridiculed him but instead, gave him an answer in truth and love. The mans name was Nicodemus. This anger from Christians is an unfortunate stain on the church that makes us all look like idiots . We are told in the bible to be as cunning as snakes and harmless as lambs but not ravenous as wolves. My hope and my prayer is that you will find someone who is able to give you the answers you seek mingled with the love of Christ.

I dont think a Christian should get irrationally angry if the bible is questioned. If people dont ask then they will not know. If you have met Christians that do get angry then I would have to question there Christianity. I am sorry that you have met people like that. Maybe they just didnt really know the bible enough to answer the questions so they used anger as a way out.

Not all Christians get angry, irrationally or not, when questioned about the Bible.
Sometimes it's a matter of how the question is phrased also. Sometimes the question is made to irritate, aggrevate,or annoy the "Christian".
I am all for freedom of religion. Freedom to choose a religion.
I think this world is big enough to support more than Christianity. And,by the way,I am a Christian.

They think that the bible is sacred and worship it (to me thats like worshipping papyrus pulp) anywho The christian bible was not created by who Christians like to call "God" or "The lord" but by humans this age was the picses age, Earth is now passing into the aquarius age in which us humans will be able to think for themselves and partly worship the law book of thier country. Christians and other religions seem to be against it by "converting people" I personally think this is selfish, I like the modern world where there is freedom from religions (I live in new zealand and they celebrate jesus by closing all the shops) so christians will (hopefully) eventually be able to accept the fact that humans will no longer have religion, and they will expreess no anger when we question the bible which will practically be a mere novel.

Because those Christians forget that they are God's servants and not God himself. God says that Christians are to be prepared with an answer when we are questioned. He also says that some plant, and some water, but it is God himself who gives the increase. Some people think that when they speak to a person about God and the Bible that the person is supposed to respond in a certain way. They need to do and say what God leads them to do and say and be satisfied with the fact that they obeyed knowing that God will move on the person's heart. They also need to respect the free will God gave every person. A person can question the Bible and reject it if they wish.

Some people seem to ask merely rhetorical questions about religion just to prove that religious people are stupid. Get enough of these silly questions, and one tends to become just a little tired of it. It is sometimes difficult to separate honest questions from the mean-spirited ones, especially when one is looking at a text message with no voice tone, facial expressions, or body language to give the reader a clue as to whether the asker is serious, stupid, or just silly.

I would suppose this would depend on how you question it; are you asking questions about it, or questioning whether it is the Word of God? True Christians shouldn't have a problem helping answer things you don't understand, (or admitting when they don't know the answer, and ansking someone else who would) but if we are faced with people who are putting it down, talking about it like it's garbage, we would get upset because love for God consumes us, and what we love, we strive to protect, even though God doesn't need our help, it is instinct) For example, if someone attacks one of your parents in any way, you are gonna stand up and fight for them, right, even if they don't need your help, and can defend themself, it is instinct, because you love them, right? Well, when people attack the Bible, they are attacking our Heavenly Father, and it does tend to get us riled up, but not in unGodly ways, such as hurting others, because of their belief, or lack of it. Hope that helps!

I think that Christians get angry because the Bible Is what the Lord our God wants us to go by to Know the Truth and to show us the way to get to Heaven, and to to have questions Is okay. But to question why It is what it is is just wrong. You have to believe Jesus Christ as the son of God in order to be a christian.

We need to be narrow minded, To be broad minded is the path to destruction..
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

the only time my feathers are ruffled is when the questions are not questions but attacks on the bible, therefore my Lord. Genuine questions are great, but flat out attacks are cruel.
I tolerate other religions I just want to help them find the truth.
