If you're looking at the end times, don't just look at Revelation. I know that the ruling country will fall which is more than likely what is happening to the US. We had everyone one our side and now, every other country hates us. Plus our dollar will soon be worth a peso (okay, I exaggereated a little there). We are eating ourselves alive. Plus America wasn't around when John wrote it. If you look at Isreal's history throughout the Bible, in Daniel, he is prophezing some signs that the nation will fall. Isreal did fall and the US is showing some of the same signs. I'm pretty sure it's in Daniel. I just remember that it is in the OT and it is a prophecy.

Maybe the USA is not that important anymore when the end of the world finally comes. You didn't really think that the USA was going to be a superpower forever, did you? Think of what happened to the Roman Empire, the Empire of Alexandria the Great, the British Empire, and the other great "superpowers" of past history. Maybe America is too insigificant to be mentioned by God, even in passing.

There is a lot of symbolism in Revelation that I don't fully understand and I've never met anyone who can explain it all fully. America may be represented symbolically in a way that we don't understand. Just as many Old Testament prophecies about Jesus's birth were not generally understood until after Pentecost, it may not be until after the events in Revelation take place that we will be able to understand their symbolism.

The Bible was never intended to be a science textbook, an atlas or a dictionary. It was intended to communicate particular truths on a particular set of subjects - what men and women needed to learn about God, the state of their soul, and the purpose of their lives and the world around them. It deals with a lot of subjects in the midst of that, but it also doesn't mention automobiles, laptop computers, Genghis Khan or the Beatles.

America might not be, but there is a Philadelphia.
Rev 1:11 and Rev 3:7
However, I think this Philadelphia is the one in Lydia along the Hermus River

Sure. America will be a non-issue after the rapture because of the large number of Christians in the country and specifically in key leadership positions. So we get raptured out and there won't be much left, so Revelation doesn't have much to say about us!

Because the Bible is not about How many continents we`ve got.
Who cares. I mean Jesus did not want us to know that.
He was just explaning a theory about how to behave to get better.
An explanation on why we do exist and what we have to do to keep existing.
So He was not interested on mentioning things that we did not need to carry out what he wanted us to.

I think we're in Rev. 18 on the receiving end of a one hour sneak nuke attack... The chapter mentions people saying no "city" like us would emerge again, the merchants being in tears, etc. I hope I'm wrong, believe me, but I'm afraid I'm not.
