Did the drugs start before or after the wedding?
Before- WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??!?
After- WHAT WAS HE/SHE THINKING??!?
Either case- Get help for your spouse... or get out. There may have to be some "tough love", but you need to think of your own health, wellbeing, and legal satus. If your spouse is found with drugs in your shared home, you could be arrested as well...

All I know is that I was in this situation, and it's bad Ummkay. There was nothing I could do to get him to stop the drugs, and it got abusive. All I could do was get out.

Go to Al-anon, get a sponsor, and work the steps. It really works.

you dont deal with it..it is not YOUR issue..let your partner work out their own dead beat ways and you move on to a better and more balanced partner
