I have no personal knowledge of these cameras, but there don't seem to be any professional reviews, and the cnet.com forum reviews are mostly bad. (Although a few people offer positive comments.)
The prices are "too good to be true", and the SVP website stresses digital zooming and interpolated pixel resolution. Both of these techniques yield lower quality pictures.
According to the forums, most sales seem to be coming off Ebay.
Maybe these cameras are "diamonds in the rough", but I would be suspicious.
For under $200 you can get a trusted name brand camera.

I rec'd one as a gift. Couldnt get the video to load on my system. Service is non existent, from what I gathered there are a few folks who respond to E mails.
