A black dog stands in the middle of an intersection in a town painted black. None of the street lights are working due to a power failure caused by a local storm. A car with two broken headlights drives towards the dog but turns in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?

The driver didn't know there was a dog there. He planned to turn at the intersection regardless of what was there.

Maybe...the car was bright color and reflected off the dog,or maybe
its like he went in to the past or something.ow! I get it he turns in time to ovoid hitting it,he does go back in time..I got it.

1)power outage makes city dispatch cops to manage intersections,
2)dog could be peeing
3)wite truk passes by dog, outlining him so driver can see him
4)could have thermal or xray vision
