You WANT a boyfriend. You don't NEED one. Relax, and have fun your freshman year. Meet new people by taking arts or sports courses. Join a club. Go to the home games. Work on the school paper. If you fill up your time with things that matter to you and are fun, you'll fall into the right crowd for you- people who will appreciate you for who you are. And you'll be so busy you won't have time to think about what's lacking. Be secure in yourself first- find your interests and go from there.

Just because you don't have a bf doesn't mean you can't go to high school.... you should be more interested in being the best you can be in school and enjoy what life has to offer with out worrying over such a thing. There are millions of women/girls with out a boy friend and it didn't kill them, infact 99% are probably happier with out one :) I hope thats not the only reason you want to attend school? I bet you have a lot of great qualities about you that you've not yet found. Let yourself grow up and learn things, no sense in rushing a relationship.

And why do you feel you are required to have a boyfriend to enter High School? Believe me, school has always been much easier when my daughters weren't involved with a boyfriend...sad, but true. Sweetie, you have all the time in the world for a boyfriend....this planet is full of them! Relax and things always fall into place....enjoy these years. My 20 yr old says she wishes she was back in High School...carefree (to a point), school activities, friends, etc.

What's the rush? So maybe your friends all have boyfriends....and you don't - which could cause you to feel like you MUST have a boyfriend in order for you to stay in competition with them.
There is plenty of time. And, you don't want any boyfriend, right? Take your time, join school clubs and get involved. I am sure when the timing is right you will meet a guy.

Don't worry overly much :) one doesn't need to ruch into a relationship just so you have a boyfriend in high school. The time will come when you meet someone special and the wonder of love will come. There is no need to hurry into something, but going into high school I do advise you, enjoy each day and keep the memories close to your heart.

It's best that you don't have a boyfriend when you are starting high school. That way you are a free agent and can pick and choose. Besides not having a guy isn't the end of the world but you won't know that until you are older.
