Frontpage is a program used for creating and editing web pages and sites. It is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editor, so HTML isn't something that you absolutely have to know, but it can help. You can create blank pages and do everything from scratch, or you can choose from a wide variety of templates for pages and sites for a large amount of purposes. The interface is somewhat similar to Microsoft Word.

Hi Shay,

There is a "student version" of MS FrontPage available for around $99.95. Search for this on the web "FrontPage 2003 Academic" and you should be able to locate a copy.
If you plan on staying in web design, you may also need a copy of Access and Adobe Photoshop or Jasc PaintShop Pro. Good luck.

This is a software program that one uses to create web pages without knowing html, easy to use program that you can either buy online or find in any office supply store or electronic store. This is a standalone which works well with all of Microsoft office programs. A similar software is Dreamweaver.

Go to Staples, Best Buy or Circuit City. They selling Microsoft Office or single Microsoft items plus some rebates. :) It is sort of like Publisher. You don't need it unless you're in a large company. If it's for home use. No need to buy it.
