It's your hair what does it matter. Unless you are like going out of the house without brushing it or something, just go with it!

I am going to grow my hair out in order to get dreads. My mom doesn't like the idea because I am always getting cute styles and she loves the variety. even though I agree... I still want dreads & there is nothing she or anyone else can do about it If I am paying my money to get what I WANT done to MY HAIR. The same applys to you : )

Parents usually dont agree with lots of choices you do while you grow up (hair style, music, etc...) but that is the part of growing up!
If you were to do everything their way you wouldnt develope your own personality. So i guess what we do is whgo we are. Yust stay satisfied with your self but try to stay at the right track.

Parents are there to guide you the best way they know how. That means they give you lots of advice, some you may like and some you may not...
Its all personal opinion, as long as you like they way you look that's all that matters!
