What is it that really seperates us from animals?

Question

We eat , drink , sleep , kill, breed , and eliminate waste.

Animals have been proven to use tools (some) they feel emotions they plan attacks when they hunt they orginise build - and they die.

I have observed animals for many years two and four legged ones. Take this as an example , one pony meets another they get nose to nose for a moment and instantly like/dislike each other.That reaction happens everyday amongst humans we meet some people and just don't like them.In the case of ponies dogs whatever what the hell did they disagree about ? Politics? Doesn't matter we are having the same reaction apparently based on the same amount of info.

We have been told time and time again we are special - gods image stuff. I just don't see how I am more special than the dog.

Oh yes my concerns seem pretty big to me but when you get outsode of yourself a little bit so does everyone's to them at least.
So what exactly is the difference? Apes look like us and therefore like god?

"We can pray"? Animals have and command launguage - just because you and I don't understand it doesn't mean it isn't communication. I don't understand Arabic but i don't dismiss it as communication. How is it we conclude that animals are not aware of god(s).Have you asked them? What did they say?

If god did place us in command how does that make us better? Is your boss somehow more secial than you because he/she was put in charge of the office?

Physically speaking we are alike. Your right!
Ecclestactic says that as the man dies so dies the animal all is vanity and a striveing after the wind.
Here comes the difference man was to take care of the earth and the animals on it. When an animal gets hurt we have the ability to help it. We know to save up food for the winter so we have the ability to think ahead. And we feed the animals during the winter. They don't feed us. We have the ability to live forever if we are in God's favor. We could be good stewards of this earth and really take good care of the animals. But we are not doing the job God intended us to do. We may inilate the whole human race. By a nuclear bomb. No animal can do that
So in a way their better, they don't polute, make wars and they don't kill when they are not hungry. Actually I like animals better
And they don't use computers

Intelligence. The human mind is one of the most amazingly complex organs in the body. While most animals thoughts are purely of needs and desires, humans also ask questions with deep philosophical meaning and other things such as this. When you doubt the greatness of humanity, remember that humans are the only animals to allow their offspring back into their nest after the offspring have already left.

Oh, and while we were created in the image of God, consider him a spiritual being rather than a physical being (even if he is both) and consider that perhaps some of our thoughts and ideas are similar to his. Of course, remember that God is perfect in every way, so this does not pertain to thoughts of sin.

You're right, we differ from other species more in degree than in kind. Other animals have language, culture, intelligence, love, compassion, in fact pretty much all the things we associate with human nature, and of course the reason we share these things with other species is that we share common ancestors.

I challenge anyone to go to a wildlife park and take a really long honest look at other species of apes, and tell me that we're not closely related by common descent. Watch their behaviour, and look into their eyes. It's just so obvious, there's no denying it.

The simple fact that you can pose such a question and critically analyze the differences.
However, in the grand scheme of things, it may be that humans have placed a higher level of importance on their role in the Universe than deserved.
In the final analysis, it may be that it doesn't matter whether there are differences or not. Human achievements only matter if there is someone (or something) around to discover, witness, or benefit from them.

Well , leave the animals alone. Otherwise Christians will start preach to animals and if they won't belive they will go to hell. At least lets save animals from Christians love msg of Jesus.

And i like GOD's love and morality when he gave us animals for food but made animals to feel the pain. I guess such good morality could come only from GOD. How could primitive humans make food and force them to feel the pain.
Therefore GOD and morality do exist.

I MAN have looked to the sky and saw the moon and said i will go there!
I Man looked to the sky again saw a bird fly. Then i flaped my arms but could not fly. So i built an airplane powered on gas.
I looked up to the stars and wondered why i was here.

We have a soul and animals do not. We can have a personal relationship with the creator/God animals cannot. We are held responsible before God for our actions because our soul lives on - animals do not have this to worry about.
