"1776" (Sherman Edwards and Peter Stone) Gorgeous score and the best book of a musical I've ever seen. They took actual quotes from the historical characters and wove them together into an entertaining and educational show.

It has to be "The Scarlet Pimpernel." From the moment the overture starts to the very end, it leaves you with goosebumps. Wonderful show, wonderful music! A must for anyone's musical collection. Peace.
