I wanted to know the punishment of some1 getting caught using some1 else's identity. Well my cuzin got a DUI in Kentucky under my name I live in FLorida. He did this about a year ago and I didn't even know about it, now it's on my record. If I was to report it that it wasn't me but him; anyone know the extent of the punishment that he would get.

Are you weighing whether or not you're willing to take the rap for him? It sounds to me like he wasn't too worried about you when he put you in that situation (how did he get your license?). You don't have to rat out your cousin, but you should take every step required to clear your name. This isn't about how harsh the punishment is; it's about taking responsibility. Your cousin isn't taking responsibility for himself, and he's knowingly putting you at risk at the same time. You seem a little too willing to take the fall.
Be responsible for your own actions, not his.

I'd be calling the police department who did the arrest and having a talk with them. (BE NICE!!) Ask them for advice as it's their jurisdiction and explain/offer proof it was not you but someone using your name.
On your record this could affect you long term - best clear it up before any more time goes by if it can be done from a distance.
And I gotta wonder how much you and cuzin look alike. I mean if the photo ID doesn't match surely the officer at the time would notice?
Sounds like there's a missing piece of the puzzle.

using a false name can get you into alot of trouble. depending on the state and record background, they can give you prison time. you need to report it and get it off your record as it will ruin your record and stays on there for credit checks, insurance. once you prove it wasn't you they will go after your cousin. nice relative to get you in a heap of a mess.

You cousin have done something wrong to you, so why are you feeling so sorry for him, you could go to jail for something you don't know about, I suggest that you take the defensive driving course to get rid of the point,
