Well to me a first date is a more think a meeting to see if you like each other so i think just a quick kiss on the cheek is all that should be expected on the first date.

even though I am a guy this is what I've seen women do. If they don't see any long term relationship forming but they think he is hot they will sleep with the guy the first night. If they see a long term relationship forming, they will hold off until the 3rd date to see what kind of stuff the guy will give/provide them in terms of the dates. Just goes to show...women are w hores.

How long you've known the guy?. If you were friends with him before a first date, or known him a bit before. Or if it's a first meeting etcetc. If you known him before as a friend a hug and kiss on the lips, if it's a first meeting a hug and peck on the cheek. Depends how comfortable you feel on the date.

Personally I feel that a kiss on the lips is the line on the first date, especially if you don't know them---it makes you seem kind of easy. But I guess it depends on you and the other person.
