Homosexuality is a sin. Like many sins, it is tempting to some people. Some people succumb to that temptation and others turn from the temptation. Because it is a sin, there is no merit in being homosexual. No one should do harm to another for leading a sinful life - for we are all sinners. Sin should not, however, be condoned. I would not abuse a child pornographer, but I also would not stand by (and would certainly not assist!) so that he can continue leading a sinful life. I would not abuse an adulterer, but I also would not stand by (and would certainly not assist!) so that he can continue leading a sinful life. I would not abuse an [insert sinful role here], but I also would not stand by (and would certainly not assist!) so that he can continue leading a sinful life. Some say homosexual people should have equal rights to marriage. To me, this is like asking for a young child to have the rights of an adult. Both are human, sure, but the child is not eligible for the adult's rights. Restricting homosexuals to marry is like giving a driver's license to those who fulfilled the applicable requirements - the license is not handed to the person who failed to meet the requirements, nor to the person who refused to acknowledge the requirements. May God's law persevere in the light provided by the love of Jesus Christ!

I don't know how any wedding could cause peace. I do know that everybody in the US is supposed to have equal rights (how about pushing for the ERA - Equal Rights Ammendment - which WAS going to give women the same rights as men already have). So, if straight people can marry, gays should also have that same RIGHT. Of course, there are some people who believe we should ammend our constitution to prohibit that right. Ugh!
No, I am not gay. I just believe in equality for everyone. Don't you?

there is no dismerit. Gay marriage will not bring peace to the country, but it will bring some peace to gays. Christians believe it is a sin, because they like to scapegoat and harbor hatred for minorities. Love is never wrong.
homosexuality, can also in no situation be compared to adultery or chilid abuse. They are in no way similar. Two consenting adults that have feelings, just as heterosexual couples feel love for one another, is in no way wrong.

It's a sin and disgusting to 90% of the people. It's being forced on us by liberals in the media.I see no merit in that.

If you think marriage is a good thing then it's a good thing for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation.
