You have to intervene... Even if she tells you to stay out of it, DONT. I used to cut myself too and yeah, it helps with the stress and stuff at first, but it only gets worse, if she wants the attention, then give it to her because it might lead to something as bad as killing herself.. If it doesnt help, then tell an adult or someone else that might be able to help.... good luck

I know it might be hard but sweetie u need to learn how to communicate better with her. t3ll her how u feel n y u feel that way n if u finally think that u cant handel or help her control it. Ur going to have to tell some1 u can trust... N to keep her 4rm doing it . It might be a good idea if she always had a rubber band on her risk.n every time she has the urge to do it. she could just pull the rubber band and let go n just keep doing it until she feels better. Im sorry if u dont understand what i just said

Tell your parents. She needs more help than you can give her. You have to get a trusted adult involved in this. Your sis might get mad at first, but she'll relax when she gets the help she needs and she sees what a great sister she has who loves her and wants to get her help. Good luck!

Self injury is the sign of a MUCH larger problem. She needs to get professional help. Avoid, at all costs, taking her to a church or some other charlatan. She needs a psycologist and she needs it NOW.

Tell anybody who can stop her, like the police or a doctor, and it doesn't matter if she tells you she doesn't like you for doing it, you are helping her and saving her.... Please, do what you know is right, she might not realize how much you love and care for her now but she will when she gets help and has a healthy mind...

You can help her by not fighting. It's hard i know, but sometimes just let things slip by. Talk to your sister and ask her why she's reacting like that.

honey, buy her a journal. and tell her every time something happens that's bad, and she wants to cut herself, tell her to write about it instead. this way instead of hurting herself, she can hurt those who have made her feel this way (by writing about it, only!) that way she doesn't have a need to cut herself anymore. she can cut them with her words and thoughts.

you have to intervene. she could really be damaged your self. it is a cry for attention so you have to give it to her before worse things happen like actual suicide.
