She's still around. I think she's actually a psychcological counselor in the LA area! Although she still does do acting from time to time. I think you have the spelling wrong, that may be why you are having trouble finding her. It's France Nuyen. (I have seen it spelled the way you spelled it, but I got far more results searching the latter.)
