A few businesses in my state have signs posted which keep people, who can legal carry a concealed weapon, from bringing their firearm into that business.

Where do you feel safer?

A business which allows legally armed citizens to carry their weapons or one where only criminals will have the weapons.

I'm not talking about where you work but rather the businesses you patronize. For instance, a resturaunt, gas station, etc.

Do the research and the answer is pretty clear, an armed society is a polite society.

Research how many U.S. cities have restrictive or outright bans on firearms then compare to a city that has little or no restriction.

Research how many countries have bans on private ownership of guns and compare the crime rates. How many of these countries have genocides and oppressive governments?

Most anti gun activists feel that all you need is the government to protect you. New Orleans should be a wake up call for that theory. When society broke down the government response was to confiscate legally owned and registered guns so these people wouldn't shoot the rapists, thieves, and killers.

Must look better in the press to be a victim.

You didn't hear to much in the way of lawlessness in Mississippi. I wonder what there laws are on firearms? (legally owned)

If you don't allow law abiding people to carry their guns, then only the criminals will have them. That's true whether on the street or in a business.

After working somewhere where there was a mass shooting, I feel safer not allowing firearms into the workplace.
