I did, but my boss put the kabash on it because he was strictly business. So I quit and got a more pleasant boss at a new job and my sense of humor came back. There was laughter during the day that my colleagues really appreciated because I would laugh at myself as well as them, which contributed to a more congenial work environment. Then when I came home my girl thought I was seeing another girl on my lunch hour because I was happy. So This made me sad and I lost my sense of humor again. She wouldn't believe that it was just my sense of humor returning so she left me. Any way I bought a new car and couldn't believe the gas mileage It was getting. I drove it to work every day and the needle hardly moved.The next week was the same deal, so I took it back to the dealer to have it checked out. They said every thing was ok. The third week the needle had moved a little closer to empty, but not much.The people in the office said this car was a real "fluke" and I should hold onto it no matter what. After a month the gas tank was 3/4 full and still going strong.What I didn't know was that every day a guy from the office would go out to the parking lot and putting some gas in the tank.They pulled this same trick on another new employee, only the second month they would take gas out. It's good to know we all had a sense of humor.
