i do not have a card reader.... only a nokia mobile phone (which i don't think likes the card) and a digital camera on which to use the card on.

thanks for the answers guys! i have tried that - re-formatted with the camera as i can't even do that properly with the phone.... it just doesn't like it!!! it won't work at all... when the phone does register the card, it won't save anything -- surely there's something wrong with it????!!! arrggghhh!!!!!!!

Greetings, i replaced into operating with a producer of the SD card . typically i'd advise you to format the cardboard once in digital camera or attempt with yet another card reader. ideally once you've the lower back up of the records and also i'd advise you to the contact the organization if the cardboard is in assure. thanks .

REFORMAT IT!!!
It's the only way.

borrow/buy a usb2 card reader... put it in reader then into pc.. formatt it under FAT... and do not use Quick formatt.....
it should work fine... if no good, run it over with a strong magnet.. then try formatting again... g'luck

goto start, run, type cmd, click run.
type chkdsk {drive letter of SD card} /f
