My boyfriend has called me muffin and sometimes love muffin. My friends and some guy have recently told me that "muffin" is an insult. I think they said it's saying something about your butt. Also i heard that most guys know it's an insult and most girls dont know that. I need some help from someone who knows what they're talking about. Guys especially! help me out!

"Muffin" or "Love muffin" are just cute nick names. He must just like you a lot. It is not an insult.
Your friends are just jealous that they don't have boyfriends that treat you as well as your's does. Girls ALLWAYS hate when their friend has a better guy then they do.
A better question for you to ask is "Why do I make up problems when there are no problems?" or better yet "Hey, why am I being such a b*tch?"

my dear this is a way a guy let you know he care for you. nick names are not bad and really not a insult.
I have a few name my hubby call me and I would think something is wrong if he stop.
think of it as a man liking you and using muffin as a quite name.

Me and my GF call eachother muffin all the time.... we don't think of it as any kind of insult, I've never heard it used as any kind of insult either. But any kind of insult is only an insult if it effects YOU
