There isn't one answer that explains everyone. But a lot of people let religion run their lives, and most of them preach that abortion is wrong. So if they get pregnant, they're stuck.

The same thing that can happen to a 59 yeard old can happen to a 20something, 30 something.
Age has no bearing on the quality of life that can be provided to child. If a child is loved for a short time or a lifetime, that love is worth it.

I would certainly would rather see a 59 year old have a baby than a 15 year old have a baby.

i agree with you. i had my last child at 40 and my first at 18. my energy level was much different back then and it makes a big difference in parenting. i hope they have prepared for who will raise the child if anything happens, including failing health. anyone who has children knows it takes a tremendous amount of energy!

I dont think age is a factor...I can understand it if they are like 65, but just because we are older dosent mean we cant make good parents...But I do see your point in what you are saying.....But young parents could die too.

some people do not realize that one can get pregnant in menopuase. Or they are on birth control but did not know that when they take antibotics it cancels out the effects.

AwW let them be. as long as they are good parents their age shouldn't matter. my grandma had my dad who is the youngest when she was kinda old. my dad and this eldest brother are 20+ years apart. my dad says grandma was a wonderful mother who always worked hard even when she was disabled her last few years of life. let them be!!
