Yes, you should absolutely trust him. What's the point in worrying anyway? there is absolutely nothing you can do about his behavior. The more you give him space and respect him, the more he is going to appreciate you and want to be around you. Never accuse a man of cheating if you have no solid basis. However, if you can't get over thoughts of him wanting to be with someone else...use your time in treatment as therapy to get over him as well. You don't need to be in a relationship that has you wondering even if it isn't anyones fault. He could be the most faithful man on earth but if you are making yourself miserable perhaps you should be alone and take care of yourself until you're truly ready to accept someone fully in your life.

i just got out of treatment and i spent the whole time totally distracted with thoughts of him and when i got out he had been messing around. i'm not saying that's what is happening with you, but now i wish that i would have spent my time in treatment working on myself more instead of worring so much about him. i don't neccessarily agree with the whole theory of no relationships for a year thing in recovery but i do know that treatment is hard enough with all the things you already have to deal with, so don't make it harder on yourself. if you ever need anyone to talk to, don't hesitate to hit me up ok hunny.

I dont know what treatment your going for but the first thing that came to my mind is you shouldn't fill up your head worrying about him. Concentrate on yourself. Treatment will be really hard if you mind is wrapped up worrying about him.

Focus on yourself while in treatment. Don't worry about him. You may leave treatment and not like him anyway.

If you both love each other than trust shouldn't even be an issue...but if you're questioning it maybe something's wrong. Go with your intuition.
