I buy a really cool calendar each year (let them pick it out) and hang in their room so that I dont have to drag out a book each time they do something cool....I even keep a pen attached to the side of the calendar!

I dont think they make a book specifically geared for toddlers, but all of my kids baby books go through the first 5 years. If you wanted to make a book for milestones, consider making a scrapbook with photos and captions to remember. I record my kids milestones in their baby books. It goes all the way to the first day of school!!! Its sweet.

I made books for both of my nephews. My sister loved them each because they were very personal and they were geared to what they each liked at the time. I looked through a baby book and thought about the milestones that were marked for older kids (first time they used a fork, first day of daycare, first time choosing their meal by asking for it, using the potty by themselves, etc.).

Just buy a scrapbook/photo album, use your computer, and go nuts! Good luck!!
