I loved R.L. Stine when I was younger and went to the book store every month to get the new Fear Street novel as well as catch up on the others. What are your favorite titles or series?
I loved the Cheerleader series and of course the "Super Chill" books!
You?

See I read one Christopher Pike book when I was younger and felt like I'd get in trouble b/c of all the sex and course words!

I loved the Fear Street books, too. My favorites were the Super Chillers. Of those, my fave was probably The Prom Queen. I loved how different all of the contestants were. Runner up Superchiller was Party Summer, loved that one. Other runners up The Stepsister (nice little surprise ending there), The Hitchhiker and Wrong Number. The Cheerleader series were fun books, too. I also loved the Christopher Pike books and the Christina books by Caroline B. Cooney. Those were pretty creepy.

I couldn't get enough of my R.L. Stine back in the day, oh my goodness, and after I read one I felt so evil, like the Fear Street books, I thought I would go to hell or something after reading them, ha! I can't remember the titles of the Fear Street books, but I remember reading the three books that told the story of the last name "Fear" and it took place back in the 1700's or something. Those were scary.

Honestly, I read them all and loved them all. My favorites for the sheer terror the invoked would have to be the Fear Street Saga, though. I remember being terrified after reading some of the truly hideous vivid descriptions of decaying flesh and so on. I wasn't too surprised when my son showed interest in the "Goosebumps" series.
