Yes. That spider is a son-of-a-f*cking b*tch!! I am soooo sorry it got you....SH*T!!!
My girlfriend in highschool lost her eye and eyelid to one of those f*kers! There wasnt even enough tissue left in her eyesocket for a glass eye or anything else. Just a deep, huge hole in her head.
She was at a camp out sleepover when it happened.
Just like you said, we didnt think it was nothin but a bad insect bite until she took off the scab. That's when all hell broke loose. It started with her eyelid and then worked all the way behind her eye and into her sinus.
She had big, beautiful blue eyes too. It was like the whole world was ending.
She hated eye patches, so in the years since it all healed up, she just wears dark glasses all the time, or the sight of her could make a mess of kids and the squeemish.
F*CKIN brown recluse spider.

I got bit by a poisonous spider as well. I thought it was just a BAD boil. So I sat around for days pushing it and using peroxide on it. Then within the next two days I could not walk. I finally went to the hospital. The doctor knew as soon as I pulled the big rap off my thigh what it was. A spider bite. I got three meds. and a shot. And guess what I'm now left with a very ugly purple black circle left on my thigh. It is so UGLY i don't want to wear a swim suit for the summer. And by the way i'm 24, I did cry like a baby.Good luck

No, you'll have the discoloring for a while, maybe a year or two. What you need is a better story, like you got shot in the arm trying to keep a nun safe during a bank robbery. Yeah, that'll do!

My uncle was bit in the hand last year by a brown recluse. Unfortunately he still dos not have full control over his hand. It is good that you sought medical help quickly. Many people have holes where they got bit for several months.

I've heard that yellow sac spiders have a similar bit which is often mistaken for a brown recluse bite.

Ew. Are you sure it was a brown recluse? I though they were pretty rare. You need to stay out of abandonded buildings and unused attics, that's where they're supposed to hang out.
