Start by mixing formula with milk at a low milk concentration and then slowly increase the ratio of milk to formula until babies are getting 100% cows milk.

I was told that you can give them milk as a substitute for the formula. Like start out with one bottle a day, and work up from there the more they get used to it. Doctores recommend that you keep your child on formula for the first year though.

My pediatrician told me there is no medical reason to make sure a babies milk is warm from about the age of 3 mos. (cold anything can cause colic in newborns) I introduced colder formula(tap temp.) slowly at 4 mos old and boy was that easier when we were on outings to not have to worry about warming the bottle. Also easier to introduce cold juice at 6 mos too. Then it was a lot easier to introduce reg. milk as was said earlier... by slowly diluting formula with milk and increasing the milk ratio each time.

The only thing that I can add is that your twins are drinking a soy based formula, they may not be able to stomach regular milk. you might have to give them soy instead.
Other than that I agree with everyone else. just sub it in and if they will not drink it, then add just a bit of the formula in the milk, and they should start to take it. good luck

Honestly, it's really easy. As long as you keep the milk the same temperature as the formula. in some cases... mixing a little bit of formula helps.

I agree that you should ask your doctor, it IS you child's health we're talking about. But in many cases if the child is having lactose issues goats milk may be a better alternative before cows milk. In any case, contact your doctor to get some ideas or talk about what some of us have mentioned. Good luck!

Gradually add more and more milk with the formula until they are drinking milk. It may take a few weeks but it worked for me.

when i went from formula to cows milk my daughter would throw up chucks because it was such a change...i would start by giving your child 3/4 of a bottle of 2% milk then the rest whole..then in a few days or so then move it to half and half of 2% and whole untill you gradually get to just whole....i talked to my daughters doc. and she said that it was fine..but you might want to call your child doc just in case...hope that helps
