I have it too, yuck, i found that going on the sunbeds and being in the sun helped, dont know why it would though. Also condition your hair because it softens the scalp, wont get rid of it but wont be as flakey as before. Its often caused by stress or something in your diet, usually dairy products see if you can cut them out. Good luck. let me know if anything helps. Maz xxxxx

The scalp represents a unique area due to the large amount of hair. Pharmaceutical companies have developed several topical medications designed to be applied to hair-bearing areas. Such formulations include foam products, liquids, and shampoos. Available foams include the topical steroids: Luxiq and Olux. Shampoos include Capex, and there are several liquids available. There is also an oil product that is useful to break up very thick psoriasis plaques on the scalp. It is marketed under the name Derma Smoothe and is used at night and washed off in the morning. If topical medications fail, oral or injectable medications would also help scalp psoriasis. Just be aware that since they are systemic they carry with them more serious side effects.

I have been suffering with psoriasis since i was 14...
I wash may hair twice a week with Neurotgena T/gel they have one formulated for psoriasis.. in between i use Tea Tree Shampoo by Paul Mitchell no off brand because it does not work as well as Paul Mitchell.... For a more severe case you can use Nizoral solution directly on your scalp... but you need a prescription for that... Hope this helps!!!

talk to the doctor, you will need a topical steroid, that is very difficult to get rid of without medical help

Try Neutrogena T-Gel. It says on the bottle that it can be used for that.
