I hate DMV so much. I goddamn hate DMV.

Dane Cook has the right idea.

As you walk into the DMV, they should hire a guy to pop out behind the door and punch you right in the face. That way, standing in line won't be NEARLY as bad as getting sucker punched.

The workers at Alabama SUCK!!! All I needed was a renewal the last time I went. Only two people in line in front of me... but a three-hour wait! The guy doing the renewals showed up for work two hours late... and nobody cared! Then he took forever to do the two people in front of me because he kept chatting on the phone and talking to all the other slow workers in that place. Don't ever come to a DMV here!

Well not all DMV ppl. are @$$holes. I promise. I work for the Alabama DMV. Im not one. It sucks somedays b/c ppl. can be rude also but, I enjoy it. I like meeting new ppl.

I don't agree with some rules for the driver lic. part but, the state is really strict on there rules now. It gets aggravating b/c ppl. blame us for rules we have to follow just as well. Its the state and county's rules we just have to go by them. Its not just us.

For tags its just as crazy some days. They require more things from others its a mess. Some days its just easier but, I enjoy every minute of it. Esp. since I transferred to a new location recently.

I don't hate to go to DMV (in California). But that's because they pay me pretty well. I transferred out of the first DMV office that I worked in, because most of them, including the managers, had pretty bad attitudes. In the office that I work in now, there are no *******. Most are polite and try to do a good job under pressure. But I have seen some that make me cringe when I hear them taking to a customer.

Just try to remember that we have to enforce the laws/rules, but we don't MAKE them. They are made by legislature and politicians (at least in California).

Hahaha! I've been to some good DMVs...and I've been to some REALLY bad ones. I think that the bad attitude depends on the location. Try going to a different one. If you live in OH, I can make suggestions of good ones (that don't have jerky employees and are quick).

I think the actual requirement is that you have to take at least one personal phone call every 10 minutes, and you get a 15 minute break every hour, and if you walk faster than a snail going to and from the copier, they fire you.

I usually have no problems with the MVA office in Maryland that i use (of course I go there several times week). I will not go to the D.C. DMV. If I have a buyer from DC, I tell them that they have to do their own tag work!!

I hate, hate, hate it but I'd rather not pay the fines I'd get if my vehicle wasn't tagged.
