i always stop myself in hanging out with my friends cause i'm too worried about what they might think about me. and i wanna hangout with them so plz help.

before you hang out with other people work on your self esteem because if you have a high selfesteem then no one can get to you

Try this. Imagine how your friends might think..maybe they are worrying as well? If you think this way, you will feel more comfortable. Everyone is somewhat self-conscious. Besides, if they are your friends, they should treat you with respect and dignity. If they do not and insult you, then you know they are not worth hanging out with..much less worrying about. I am very sorry if this sounds rude but it seems to me that you dont have a very high self-esteem this can cause you to go crazy about what people think of you. However whats more important is how you think of yourself (thats self esteem). If they are your friends they should only think good things about you. Once you start talking to them you may forget about what they think and focus in on having a good time. To build your self esteem try doing something your good at every other day mine is dance.If you dont have a sport try something out irish dance is my favorite it makes me feel great about my self.Try new things find what you are really good at. Then admit to yourself that yes you are good. Also no joking that you think you are ugly ect. because that just brings you down even if you dont realize it. Once you have a higher self esteem you will thinkly highly of yourself and you will be confident which will make you shine. You will be proud of your self and hopefully not care what others think about you (unless its good). Eventually you wont notice or think about what your friends think of you and just have fun.Relax. Because if they really are your friends that wont think anything bad about you. Good luck and i hoped this helps (dorry if it was confusing)

Why worry about it if they are real friends then why would they say anything to hurt you. If you are worried about what they think of you then you don't need to be hanging out with then to start with. They are not your kind of people. You have to be your self and not let others run your life. Take charge of your life and if people say anything don't worry about it....But then again i am a nut so what do i know?

stop worrying about what they will think of you. First you need to love yourself and who you are. People will either like you or not. You can not please everyone, so you need to take the time and enjoy yourself. Your true friends will not care how you look but appreciate you for who you are.

First i think you realize that people probably don't think about you that much.... if at all. It is a little egocentric to say that everyone is thinking about you. People have their own problems to worry about you. Understanding this may help you to relax.

why do you care what people think ?do you like yourself and what you stand for?you will be the person that you are for the rest of your life so as long as you are happy who cares what everyone else thinks

Engage in sprituality, especially practices that boost your esteem.

meditation
yoga
bible study

And keep your life balanced.
