Any time of the day or night!! A bad day fishing is better than a good day working....lol. No seriously, depending on your skill and weather, temp, water level and clarity.... anytime can actually be a good time to bust old bucketmouth. Early morning and right at sundown seem to be about the best producing times though.

I've found that the best time to fish in any water is anytime you can get out there. If you don't go you can't catch. Other than that early am or sunset. try top water baits

Obviously, dusk and dawn, but use top water after it gets dark for better results
