This drug is not seen as physically addictive so you need to break the psychological addiction, unless you don't smoke cigarettes. If you smoke cigarettes then you need to look at the cycle in which you smoke weed. If it is in front of the TV every night at seven, then be somewhere else or do something else then. If you smoke with friends then give them a wide berth for a few weeks. Every thing you do when you smoke and everywhere you go has to change for a number of weeks to stop the mental triggers desiring wwed.
If you don't smoke cigarettes and put tobacco in joints then you may need NRT like gum or patches to wwen yourself from the nicotine.
Just keep at it, weed is fun for a while but tends to increase paranoia over prolonged use and can trigger mental illness.

1) Make a commitment to change.
2) Improve your self-awareness.
3) Identify your triggers.
4) Don’t allow your mistakes or setbacks to derail your commitment to change.
5) Be aware of old, familiar habits.
6) Get a support system in place.
7) Determine what success looks like, and set your goals for achieving it.
Identify the triggers that make you smoke pot. Take note of your habits of when and why you smoke. When the trigger happens, make a conscience effort to do something besides smoking pot. Going to the gym or going running is a relief.
8) Get a support system!!! If your friends all smoke pot, you have to distance yourself from them. I know it sounds impossible but it is do-able. The real friends will understand and give you space. You may find that you really didn’t have friends, more like drug buddies. Make some new friends that don’t smoke. It’s not hard. There are some cool people who don’t smoke. Even better, make a friend with someone who quit themselves. I hope some of this helps.
9) There are no physical withdraws when you stop (unlike tobacco which is highly addictive) it is all mental.
Difficulty with Concentration & Mental Confusion - Marijuana may cause you to forget easily, and have difficulty studying and learning
10)Risk of Bad Marijuana - Marijuana could be laced without your knowledge with anything making it even more dangerous. If it is mixed with other drugs or poisons, it can do physical damage to your body (sometimes deadly).
If you don't think you can do it. Find someone to talk to..I dont believe rehab works. But if you can get a girlfriend/boyfriend to talk to you. They may help you.

A lot of people can quit on their own, quit associating with the people around you that support that lifestyle and replace that behavior with a healthier one; when you feel the urge to smoke get on your running shoes and go running. No, its not easy, but if you really want to quit you'll make the effort.Just don't replace one unhealthy behavior with another, cigarettes, food, anything like that. Some people require a little more help. Give a call (it can be anonymous) to a local rehab center or emergency room and ask for some references, there are usually free ones and insurance will usually pay for counseling. Bottom line though, you have to WANT to quit.

Think about how long you would like to live and if the time doesn't isn't soon, then you need to stop because weed kills brain cells. think about all the people that you love and that love you. Now imagine you not being in their lives because of your addiction. If you can still pick up some weed and smoke then you will never stop.
Good luck

Seriously, either stop callin the dude you get it from or quit hangin out with your group of friends that are users. Change your phone number, re-locate..or try cold turkey which mean just wake up and say ok I'm done. Takes a strong mind not to fall under peer pressure but if you want to stop badly enough you can, just dont answer the phone at 420

Realized that it can be very hard and it will be a life time struggle. We are free of it for one year. We moved, changed friends, changed our lives. We both work full time jobs, and I go to school, plus there are three little ones. If you can not stop on your own and really want to, it is time to seek professional help. Check your self into a clinic. They can help you quit and give you tools to deal with stress and life. Because that is what drugs do, it is a temporary escape from your life. Good Luck!

1. Flush all remains down the loo
2. Get a good mate to tie you to a fence
3. Get the mate to smoke it next to you - far away so you don't get the benefits, but near enough to smell it.
4. Tell your friend not to let you go no matter what you say.
5. Stay there for 6 weeks, but make sure someone feeds you.
6. Good luck :)

some say that it depends on how long you have been doing it, but you need a special friend to stand beside you and be there for you I think, sort of like a mentor type person. I know that it is really really hard to stop any drug. Go to someone you trust and can trust in fully and have them help you in ALL ways. And GOOD LUCK.

First, collect every bit of weed (seeds included) and put them in a bag.
Second, take the bag to your local police department and turn yourself in for drug possession.
You should be able to drop all of your bad habits during your time in prison. Just remember, don't drop the soap.
