The Number of the Beast is a concept from the Book of Revelation of the Christian New Testament. The Number is 666 in modern texts, although 616 appears instead in one ancient source.[1] The meaning of the number is debated. If you study numerology, many numbers have a meaning. 3 has the idea of perfection, as is the trinity. 7 always has the idea of completion or goodness. 6 merely stand for incomplete or falling short, whether it may be a false religion or the devil himself.

Look at the number 666, that is 3 6's. In essence that means incompletion totally manifested. It is used for a sake of emphasis. Those that take that the literal 666 will be on a forehead or whatever, cannot understand symbolism nor numerology, what the book of Revelation is full of.

The number 1 represented God, the number 3 was used for emphasis, anytime something important would be happening to the Israelites, Yahweh would have it announced 3x to emphasize its importance and make sure the message got out. The number 6 represented Man and his imperfect state and the number 7 represented Heavenly perfection. The number 40 represented Divine or Holy tribulations, such as the rain Noah and his family endured for 40 days and nights, the fast Jesus endured for 40 days and nights, the 40 years the Israelites wandered in the desert, etc.

Many satanic organizations and devil worshippers use it as a symbol or part of their insignia, and in Satanic Rituals! Even some Bibles have a disguised form of this number on their covers! The number itself is not evil! Only the people that worship it and flaunt it about most likely are!
