best brand of fishing rod on the market that is more high quality than shakespear/zebco/berkely

I would say probably G. Loomis is the best rod out there. I would go with Shimano for the best reels. although I hear All Pro rods are nice and I heard of something made by Rougue. I have G. Loomis and wouldn't trade them for anything else that I've tried. They are a little pricey though.

St.Croix are probably the best for the fact no mater what happens to the rod, if it ever breakes they will replace it for free for life!But there not cheap.Gander Mountain rods and reels are cheaper and have a two year warranty.I just took one back no questions asked!

a real toss-up between g-loomis and sage.i own some of both and absolutely love them.the only drawback is they are pricey but they are high end rods and worth every penny i spent on them.
