can't u guys at least give a proper answer? >_>well heres my input.. drink a warm glass of milk... theres certain properties in milk that help assist in sleeping... drink it about an hour before you sleep so that you don't wake up during the night needing to go to the washroom.. another method is to close your eyes and imagine a farm full of sheep... begin counting.. 1. 2. 3.. until you go to sleep... You are suffering isonmia <--- not sure if spelled correctly... the reason why you can't sleep either is because you are thinking too much.. by using the counting method, your mind is eased and doesn't think of other thoughts... One other way u could use is imagine yourself on a sunny beach where the waves just move left to right... good luck... btw if you are unable to sleep after 1 week straight.. consult your doctor

First of all, don't sleep so late in the day. No matter how much it sucks, FORCE yourself to get up at a set time every day (like 7 or 8 in the morning). Also, make sure you are engaging in some sort of physical activity during the day. At a minimum, go for a walk. Make your body tired and it will WANT to sleep! The first few days of making yourself get up early will not be fun, but eventually you will get tired enough that you will be able to fall asleep at a reasonable hour, and then your sleep cycle will be stable.

Your gonna wanna...
Not watch TV or go on the computer an hour before sleep
Maybe drink a glass of milk
Maybe take some medicine if you REALLY need sleep...not recommended.
Stay up for a day where you don't need rest, then let yourself fall asleep at your old time, then set your hours again and your body will be used to it.

Sometimes reading helps, or you can take Melatonin, a sleeping pill. Maybe you have things on your mind like "I have to remember to pick up the dry cleaning tomorrow, I can't forget this, remember to do that....." To help with the worrying, make a list on paper of a list of things you need to do the next day so you are not worrying about them, and you know you won't forget.

You could go work out and after you warm down, take a shower and spray something sweet smelling on your pillow and let nature take its course. Or, you could just say sleep, sleep, sleep like a million times or until you fall asleep. That's what I do. If all else fails, take Benadryl.

take an antihistamine like benadryl. it will knock you right out. dont do it for a long period of time, just until your body gets used to sleeping nights. that should be just a few weeks.
