suggestion for park activities for children?

i'm planning a reunion but the park won't let us have the moon walk or that inflatable castle you bounce on. any other suggestions for fun activities for kids at a park for a family reunion?

There are so many things you can do:

Such as Contests:

Wheel Barrow Race

Three-legged race

Scavenger hunt ( makes teams, and ask the people to get things from a list and who ever gets everything first wins. Usually I make a list of things that come from all the adults or things in nature)

Family History Trivia (Basically asking questions about each family member...for example Uncle Joey got married in what year? or When Sophie was born, who made her her first pair of baby booties/shoes/socks?) You can make them harder if you want...but it can be fun, especially if you have teams.

Dance Contests (someone picks the song and the person chosen to dance has to do a very creative dance)

Karaoke ( you can rent the entire system and have your own american family idol, make the older people the judges.)

Musical Chairs

Tag

Freezer Tag

Hide and Seek

Pictionary

Charades (can be pretty fun if you have teams and everything)

Cranium (great board game!)

Family Scrabble ( Scrabble but only using the names of members within the family first or last)

Kites

Water balloon fights are always fun!

Frisbee

Soccer

Flag Football

Baseball

Umm, bubbles.
Egg toss, potatoe sack races, foot races etc. Maybe get back to the traditional games.
Watermelon seed spitting contest is good, kids love that.
